" …The Government has decided to bring about a complete modernization of the Police organization. As part of this effort, measures ranging from updating the Police manual to increasing the strength of the police force have already commenced. With a view to creating a more people-friendly police service, efforts are on to make the law and order machinery more contemporary. It is also essential to bring about necessary and timely changes in the training methods for the police officers. Accordingly, Kerala Police have joined hands with OrgPEOPLE to develop three short training films, meant to show police personnel how to behave in a sensitive and friendly manner with the public. These films are to be screened as training films for police personnel at the police training camps as well as at the police academy.
